Delivery Details

How a delivery works on Find A Traveller, from agreeing a price to the item changing hands.

The steps

  1. 1Agree the details in chat — what is being carried, when, and for how much
  2. 2The traveller sends a formal quote with a work order number
  3. 3The package owner accepts it and pays. Payment is held, not passed on
  4. 4Both sides' names and contact details unlock automatically
  5. 5They meet. The traveller inspects the item and accepts custody
  6. 6The traveller posts updates as they travel, and the owner follows along
  7. 7At the destination, the recipient gives the delivery code and receives the item
  8. 8The code releases the payment, and both sides review each other

The delivery code

A one-time code that confirms the handover happened. The recipient gives it to the traveller in person, at the moment of delivery. Never share it beforehand — it is the only thing standing between a traveller and the money.

Inspection is not optional

Travellers must see what they are carrying before accepting it. A sealed package you have not looked inside is your risk at a border, not the sender's. If you are not shown the contents, refuse.

Weights and limits

Weight is agreed per booking and shown on the quote. Travellers set the space they have available on their trip; airline allowances and restrictions are the traveller's responsibility to know.

What cannot be carried

Anything illegal to possess, export or import in either country, anything the airline prohibits, and anything needing a licence you do not hold. The full list is in the Terms.
